From the age of four, CA spent summers on an island in Ontario, Canada, and winters among frozen fields of the midwestern United States. Her grandfather imparted his love for the natural world to her. CA earned degrees in geology and tectonics. She worked for an international petroleum company for many years and traveled the globe. Now she lives in the Rocky Mountains. Science is the focus of her writing and her ongoing research is in earthquake mechanics.
The initial three books in her Nexus Series have been updated and revised and will be published by Spectrum Books-London throughout 2026. The fourth Nexus book, Quantum Time, will be released in January 2027.
The Paris Contagion, a geo-political thriller, is available in an updated and revised edition now. This fast-paced adventure is taken from today’s news events and spiced up with a little science. Cassie and Sam will return in their next adventure Deflection in July, 2026.
CA tries to balance the passion for long-distance cycling with her writing. She’s learned time is the limiting factor and quantum mechanics seem easier. Her life is enriched and sustained by her love for JP, best friend and mate for more than 50 years.
